List of Games which are "SPOORTHI"
SPOORTHI is the sports and games tournament organized at office. Although I had no active participation during School or coll days I was hyperactive at office (probably the missing days of coll forced this ) . Let me provide you a short update of the various events:
First and foremost - "Our Cricket" . Who the hell said that girls cannot play physical games? We outsmart guys in it. We as the "Juggernaut" team played a smashing game at the final but had to be contended as runners. We won a cup.
Then comes the Table tennis tournament with singles , doubles and mixed doubles. Same applied to Badminton .
Then there was this Dart game which showed my poor aims .
There were also games like the Tennicoit game, throw ball, carrom, chess
There was a scrabble game which proved my english worth to myself ;). Not to mention more about the result here.
There are also games like football and basketball where only guys play.
Girls prefer the mini football - an indoor game , which usually doesn't tan them :D
Apart from this there were Quiz competitions, Picture competitions and lot more.
Hope this makes the person reading this post jealous enough :)

My first CAR driving experience
I ate to my throat level to gather up strength to hold the steering, then had a big glass of orange juice. I even energized my mind by being egoistic. Went timidly to the driving school with my mom. I expected a full length theory session about driving and driving rules and ruled out any practical experience for the day. The person incharge asked us to wait for a while, later guided us to a red Maruti 800 waiting for me. My instructor was sitting next to the drivers seat and my mom comfortably occupied the back seat. This made me nervous and in the same while my instructor asked me to take the drivers seat. My heart missed a beat, my mom was tensed too. Then he asked me about my driving history and started explaining the various important parts of driving a car. I started cooling down even in the stifling heat of the sun. Suddenly after the explanation he asked me to turn the key! Added to my horror, we were on Mysore road with heavy traffic . The instructions given were continuous and my both hands and both legs were in full action. Slowly i eased out, felt the car was too simple.... got accustomed to it. I had a nice big drive and slowly returned back. My timing was complete. Thank God we reached safely. A real great achievement in my life.

"Something about office"
Early morning travel, Adigas breakfast, morning working hours, then tea break, again work, lunch time , then the "tree" meeting with team, then again back to work, noon tea break, final work till the clock ticks 5 to leave for the day - - - a very very brief outline of my course at office.
Work Perspective : The best place to work. Friendly atmosphere. Help from any member of the team including the manager. Freedom to express new ideas. Lot of enthu filled atmosphere. No restriction for almost anything. A mentor to exclusively coach you. Great appreciation and recognition even for a small achievement
Enjoy Perspective : Lot of team outings , minimum 3 per month. Birthday celebrations with cake cutting. Team outings once in a while. Tea time team fun. "Tree" meeting fun. Lots of goodies now and then from manager. Freak out with friends at any time of the day.
Freedom Perspective : The "OPEN DOOR POLICY" which we have allows us to contact anyone till CEO of the company for any issues or concerns. No restriction on any website. No time restriction. No dress restriction. No attendance policy. Work from home largely supported.
Technology Perspective : An "Idea fest" every four months where you can exhibit your own ideas, if qualified will go to "Tech Con" , if approved there too , a patent can be filed. Tech talks, Coffee talks, Knowledge sharing sessions, Presentations across labs, and lot more.
Events Perspective : Cultural events, Karate events, Celebration events like cubicle decoration, Sports events, Inter floor competitions
Services Perspective : HR services, Banking services, Transport services, Stationary services, Reimburse claim services , service desk services, IT services all work up to date
THE FINAL TOUCH - " HP - STSD , THE BEST PLACE TO WORK AT "

Mail forwards
Forwarded mails are the most common these days especially in the curriculum of an IT professional. Bulk of these usually irritate us but there are many which could contain momentous information. Pictures, facts, humor, comparison, criticism, forecasts, antediluvian things are some examples of the types of these. Lack of work , boredum at work are overcome by these mails. Not all of them assume the same importance, there can even be some nonsense mails which irritate you. My recent obsession is reading up these mails and forwarding those to many.

Reasons 'Why' people do not share their knowledge
There are many reasons for people to show no communion towards knowledge. Some of them include :
>Firstly they are not confident of the knowledge they have and are quite introverted
>Sharing of knowledge leads to "loss of importance" when it becomes a common pool
>They are aware of the knowledge they have and consider it unnecessary to share among others as they are able to accomplish tasks
>Some others consider it a waste of time

something heedful
Incessant talk
Pliant iron
Placid noise
Quandary clarity
Spurious truth
Ample scarcity
Dappled clarity
Contentious friend
Culpable praise
Derelict art
Deleterious adventure
Desolate life
Discordant views
gratuitous work
Inscrutable pain
Parochial goodness
Perverse mood
Ponderous joke
Sardonic humor

Mathematics affinity
How many ever new subjects I have come across, I am still enamored by the beauty of mathematics. I had this pertinacious feeling of getting every problem 'first' and 'right'. I found myself trying out new , craziest methods of solving questions .
First it is to do with numbers and number system... next the Algebra :
"Algebra is a cobra which makes you gabra" , all to do just with those a, b, c, d alphabets.
geometry with those angles and triangles led my mind to mad-angles. Later added up with the "theta" concept, all were equally interesting . This affinity later tuned to puzzle solving. I even harried quite few of my buddies to solve puzzles. Well if you are ready , here goes one :
" get the result of 88 by using only four 4's "

Stars and galaxies
From the times I was a tiddler I had a great interest in stars and galaxies. This admiration actually started when once I had been to a small hamlet where my grandparents stay. At nights we had to doze outside the abode to beat out the stifling heat. There, when I just laid my head on pillow , the sky was directly overhead with stars spread all around far and wide. Inbetween a beautiful, shining, calm, titillating moon appeared to rule all these stars.
I had been to a Planetarium once to view the virtual effect of all the stars and galaxies. There they happened to show the various galaxies identified, our own galaxy The Milky Way and various nearby galaxies. They also showed various constellations identified and the beliefs behind them.
At class 10th, if I have not mistaken, we had a chapter on stars and galaxies. I still cannot block out a sentence from my mind - "There are more stars in the Universe than all the grains of sand on the earth". I had stopped a breath at the sight of that sentence. I really wonder how this could all happen. This also led me to compare and contrast the minuteness of life on earth to the vastness of the Universe.
The sidereal system has had a lasting effect on me and would continue in the future too

Commonsense supercedes the five senses
Everyone would have heard of the phrases -"Don't you have common sense?" or "Don't you have sense?" atleast once in their life time. Sometimes you literally are frantic with the things around you so your common sense assumes insignificance. Recent political developments in our state also tend to show the lack of common sense among our elected leaders.
You also tend to hear - "Does it make sense?" which has the connotation of the situation faced being completely non-sense. Hence it(common sense) is one of the most desired quality expected out of anyone and it overtakes the other five senses too.

Accolades and Diatribes
When success is driving you , you are filled with accolades, whatever you do is right
When failure strikes you, diatribes surround you, even if everything you did was right

The past is no predictor of the future
If you think you have done great deeds in the past and take up that as a basis to predict your future success then you are misguided. The situation is no longer the same, its been cultivated. The hiatus between the past and future helps you to germinate to the surroundings. If you are not ready to accept this truth, then your future is dilapidated.

the greatest depth
I saw this only once....
Nothing is so ever profound....
I never knew of this before....
Never felt it later too....
The intensity was too high....
The sharpness of your eyes....
Penetrated me completely....
You knew this too...
Never did you admit....
Nor I.....

Grueling travel
Traffic on roads has extended beyond control. Whether you drive or you travel by vehicle you are a victim of this stress. Cacophony of the horns, thick black smoke from emission pipes, people haphazardly crossing inbetween, pits on roads...... you finally manage to elude from all these and end up getting caught at a traffic signal!!! such pathos for all those people who manage to battle up with the traffic with forbearance
Conundrum
don't try to identify other person's mistakes, because they would correct their mistakes and will curse you for the rest of their life for pointing their mistakes

Dream "high"
I am one person of the kind who sleeps heavily. I found the dream start flitting through my mind. I find myself soaring high and high into the unknown space, beyond the earth, beyond the sky. The path never ended but was not seeable too. After a while later i found to have struck an apogee. Then there came a gust of wind like a maelstorm which suddenly pushed me from that point . I see myself drooping down and down and down impaling the air like a bow . I now could clearly see heavy thorny land in front of me . Eyes filled with affright, hands trembling, legs shaking and body jerking-Now i knew nothing could save me, I tried to remember all good things, all good people , also the mistakes i committed towards them, but it was too late, nothing left. The moment of end approached too near, suddenly!!!! a clamor!!! my alarm rang heavily ...... slowly I opened my eyes which still found the surrounding incredible. Hands still weak from the effect took considerable time to handle the alarm. Soon i could hear dulcet voice of my mom from kitchen. I expressed an ejaculation at that, started walking slowly out of my room doddering

what's this in my hand??
Something new, Something we craved for in the past four years, something the world is rotating around, something which promotes miracles, something which gives you boldness, something which gives you dignity, something which will never satisfy you, something which promotes lot of tensions, something which you get in the corporate world, something which made Bang an IT city, something which your relatives look for, . . . that 'something' is in my hands today!!

Emotional addiction
I have always known to have been a strong person from within but rather from past three years I find myself contradicting it. This nuance was caused due to me meeting a person three years back. I still cannot forget the eyes which beholded me . They worked like an opiate to capture my emotions. I never could take up an audacious decision for myself regarding this. As a result of this the entire matter became dilapidated but till today i feel that i have shown up severe chicanery towards myself

Happiness associated with the 'feeling of completion'
Completion of tasks or work always leads to complacency. Completion of school, completion of college, completion of degree each tend to add brick by brick to build a human being. These completions are essential for an individual to achieve great happiness. Completion of an exam, used to provide a lot of relief and happiness during good old school days.
The new item added to this cart is - completion of a day, then a week, furthermore a month in office. There is a specialty associated with completion of a month in workplace as you get money and debit card into your hands.
Software engineers are known for their frequent job switches' hence their stay in a company, even for a month is valued. Although completion is good in a sense, it also reminds of more responsibilities.
Happiness at various culminations is not the same. The purity of happiness from childhood to present situation is drastically reduced. Change has influenced happiness too. . .
